Wrongful death, tractor-trailer wreck. Two defendant companies were involved, and one didn’t want to pay, so litigation was necessary. We were able to avoid trial, and get it resolved.
Dispute against an insurance company. The company refused to pay a dime of the applicable $50,000 policy, so we filed suit. We prevailed at the Arkansas Supreme Court, and made the insurance company pay $65,500 on the policy. We then litigated a bad-faith case against the insurance company, resulting in an additional $750,000.
Premises liability case. The insurance company first denied liability and offered nothing, making a lawsuit necessary. After extensive litigation, we were able to avoid trial and resolve for $700,000.
